Yun Fei is an occupational therapist graduated from the University of East Anglia, United Kingdom. She loves using her creativity and skills in helping people from all walks of life to achieve goals or activities that are meaningful to them. Her passion towards helping and empowering others, has also lead her towards active volunteering and taking up leadership roles in student organisations that promotes social awareness during her studies.
Yun Fei’s clinical experiences in the UK include providing occupational therapy services to a variety of population ranging from children to elderly, whom were mentally or physically ill; covering different settings including hospitals, community based services and special needs school.
Her clinical placement of working in a special needs school in London, had sparked her interest in extending her career in the paediatrics and neurology field. Yun Fei had worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, global developmental delay, cerebral palsy and attachment disorders. She enjoys conducting group sessions with children of different needs, while maintaining a client–centred approach when planning and delivering occupational therapy interventions. Helping children to become problem solvers, building a sense of self and achieving independence in their daily life, are things that she is passionate about and finds it self-rewarding.
In her spare time, she loves making art, reading a good book and doing yoga.
